Manufacturers must be able to predict the behavior of their systems and products. Many do this through hundreds of tests so they can develop empirical formulae and charts that are accurate but become useless when a new idea is added to the system that changes its behavior. Greg’s has assisted many large and small manufacturers during the product development and patenting phase. His Engineering and Programming skills have saved a lot of the cost that is typically borne my manufacturers who develop products through an iterative cycle of the idea, building a prototype, testing it, evaluating the test results, and then modifying or scrapping the idea based on surprises learned in the testing.

While Greg has personally patented several products, he has also proposed many patentable designs that have been adopted by manufacturers who have retained him to assist with design and testing and certification of their products.

Because many unique products and systems are not contemplated by existing regulations and standards, Once Greg has evaluated these systems (through computer modelling and some minimum testing) and verified their safe performance, he offers certification that these systems are meeting the ANSI Z359.6 and CSA Z259.16 standards.
